#002 Sheriff Jeff Dirkse
Open discussion with Stanislaus County Sheriff Jeff Dirkse. Jeff was raised in Denair and graduated from Turlock High in 1990. He Attended West Point Military Academy where he graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree. He served in the US Army as an Infantry Platoon Leader, Ranger Platoon Leader, Infantry Company Commander and most recently was a Watch Officer at Special Operations Command.
Sheriff Dirkse began his career in Law Enforcement in 2007 with Stanislaus County Sheriffs Department. He served on patrol and special team STING while working his way up the ranks. He became Chief of Police in 2015 for Patterson Police Services. He was sworn in as Sheriff-Coroner on January 7, 2019.
