#007 Bill Browder

Open discussion with Bill Browder.  Bill Browder is CEO and co-founder of Hermitage Capital Management, the investment advisor to the Hermitage Fund, which was at one time was the largest foreign portfolio in Russia.  Bill is also Author of Red Notice and Freezing Order in which he discusses the corrupt Russian government, money laundering, and murder.  Bill and his attorney Mr. Magnitsky tried to fight the Russian government and eventually they raided Bills offices and stole his companies.  Mr. Magnitsky stayed in Russia to fight this and Bill was deported.  They eventually arrested Mr. Magnitsky on false charges and kept him imprisoned.  He was tortured and kept in very bad condition until he got sick an eventually lost his life.  Bill being furious started fighting against Russia even harder and got the Magnitsky act passed.
